A press release from the COD Board of Trustees received by DuPage United on August 18 lays out the presidentail search timeline. For the first time, the Board includes mention of a Representative Advisory Group and plans for a public forum:

Board of Trustees selects and announces new President

Two representatives of DuPage United spoke at the Aug. 21 Board meeting, asking that input from the various stakeholders be considered carefully and that we be given answers to our many questions about the public forum (which we specifically listed that evening).

We have been calling for a larger role for various stakeholders in the selection process since July 24, so DuPage United welcomes the new additions. Since their roles in the review of applicants are still very unclear, we will continue to monitor the actual implementation of the Representative Advisory Board and the Public Forum.
